Project : 200 yards Cottage Industrial plots were allotted by the (KMC) now CDGK @ RS:1,20,000/- in 1994. The allotment orders were personally given by the Late (Shaheed) Banazir  Bhutto.

·         Connected with SBFC, S.I.T.E through Shara -e- Orangi, Hub Industrial estate, Surjani & North Karachi Industrial. Estates through the Northern by-pass.

 

·         It;s just few kilometers from Bara board and Nazimabad. A short cut is also available from North Nazimabad through Pahar Gaunj.

 

·         Cottage industry is surrounded by the residential areas such as Orangi 11 ½, Baldia, Mansoor Nagar, Bihar Colony and it’s just 3 KMs from the Northern Bypass / Madina tul Hikmat.

 

·         Electric, Gas, water is available in the adjoining areas while Skilled & Unskilled labor, transport, are available.

Current Status:.

 

·         The development work is in progress which is likely to be completed within six months as promised by the City Nazim however possession is being handed over to the allottees after the payment of original dues..

·         At the other hand, Development charges were included in the original cost of the plot and the entire infrastructure was guaranteed by the defunct KMC  However CDGK has imposed additional development charges unlawfully, which has been challenged by about 325 allottees in different courts including the Sind high Court. Sind High Court has also granted STATUS QUO against the demand and payments of  the additional development charges however if some one pays  it the additional amount shall be returned by the CDGK if the case is disposed in favor of the allottees that is highly expected as large number of evidences to support the commitment of KMC, are available.

 

Cost of plot:

 

i. Currently the minimum cost of 200 sq. yard plot is minimum 4, 00,000/= (CASH) with all original dues paid. The payment of additional development charges is held in abeyance till the final decision of the court as explained above.

Documentation / Transfer / Lease charges shall be extra. 10% extra for corner/ wide Road & Prime location.
